Two weeks ago, it was Johnny Depp that was supposed to be the Riddler. Then they were saying that Rachel Weisz would be Catwoman. This week's rumor is Eddie Murphy as Riddler and Shia LeInthatcrappytransformermovie as Robin. Next week, the same websites'll probably claim that Heath Ledger will play The Joker again by means of a CGI rendition of his character.
Don't believe anything about the next Batman flick. Nolan's said that he's a LONG ways away from starting work on the movie. A week or two ago I read an interview where he said he's braindstomed a few ideas, all of which were immediately trashed. We aren't gonna see a new Batman flick for at least two or three years. Nolan'll likely do another movie in between now and then, like how he did The Prestige between Begins and Dark Knight.
Personally, I love to see the series end with The Dark Knight. Go out on top.
Agreed, the riddler has always been white, not that him being black is the main problem. Eddie Murphy can not play, the dark tone of this batman series, he is far to funny, and not serious enough for this kind of role. Although i would prefer, some other villain be introduced, like the mad hatter, my favorite, I could see the riddler, as a dark villain, if it wasn't portrayed by some who can actually be taken seriously.Is the new Batman movie gonna be a flop now that its revealed Eddie Murphy will play The Riddler?
Say what? I guess they're going for comedy again. Jim Carey wasn't a good Riddler, he was more of a Silver Age Joker type. Still, it would be ammusing to see Murphy prance around in a green suit, trying to act like a quizical repressed homosexual. XD
Why is the Riddler in the next movie anyways, he retired from crime :( He's even going to be working WITH Batman in February in Batman Confidential, but I guess it doesn't really matter, since it could be months before we find out if Bruce Wayne is really dead or not.Oh well, the last movie didn't exactly go off the comics either. Please...Beetlejuice-Joker?

but they've already done sumthin similar in the 2003 film Daredevil...they cast a black King pin...whn in the comic king pin has always been a white guy
Eddie Murphy as The Riddler is nothing more than a rumor. Nothing has been etched in stone about the third movie, including there even BEING a third movie.
