I am also a big fan of his sidekicks such as robin Nightwing batgirl and jason todd so any with them in aswell will be great. I have been into batman for years but cannot find the comics in order on the internet PLEASE help.What are the main Batman comics to read from the first to most recent in order?

1)His sidekicks had their own series %26amp; there are related series, mini series, %26amp; crossovers.
2)Because of Crisis on Infinate Earths, everything that happened to Batman before the 80s never happened. His history is still being rewritten from the ground-up in Batman Confidential, so reading the Golden Age %26amp; Silver Age comics is pointless because they're out of continuity.
Your best bet is to go to Comic Vine (website), look up Batman, click the button on the left that says "comics by cover" %26amp; then only collect 80s-present issues. It will list every crossover, mini series, %26amp; related comic he's ever been in.
